Logo & Identity

Redwood Foundation for Education is a philanthropic organization in Southern Oregon that has provided high school and college students with scholarship funds for over 60 years. As part of a larger rebranding effort executed by Sheepscot Creative, I was tasked with a logo redesign. Redwood was looking for a mark that represented the stability, legacy, and and trust that they have provided to the greater Grant’s Pass community for decades. The branding needed to affirm the organization’s past while speaking to their commitment to supporting future generations.

The final mark is a graphical representation of the perspective of gazing upwards through a forest of redwood trees as sunlight streams down. That upward gaze inspires growth, hope, and possibility—a testament to Redwood’s work helping open up opportunities for young people in their academic journeys.
